Boise 2018

A trip to the Northwest is not complete without a stop in Boise.  Jim has two nephews there.  We’ve been to Boise before and will most certainly visit again!  This was a quick weekend stop because we are on a deadline to reach the east end of North Dakota by September 26

Jason and his wife Andrea had everyone over for dinner, so let’s meet the adults.  L to R:  Corinne, Kera (Brian’s wife), Brian, Andrea (Jason’s wife) and Jason.  Yes, I totally photoshopped Andrea into the picture.  She actually took this picture.  I couldn’t leave such a great host and family member out of the picture!

Sunset over downtown Boise from Jason and Andrea’s neighborhood.  Living in the foothills is not a bad thing!

Jason brought his and Andrea’s kids over to the RV to see it.  Avery looks like he is having fun driving the RV.

Faye always has fun!  And she had to check out every little button and switch in the RV.  I see an engineer in the making.

We don’t carry toys in the RV, but we managed to have some fun.  I pulled out the sewing machine and scrap flannel and we stitched up some little blanket and pillows (see all that fabric on the right?).  We also managed coloring time in the RV with highlighters!

A few days after our visit, Andrea texted me this picture.  It is Avery’s rendition of the Blue Flame. I LOVE IT!  Great job Avery!

We always enjoy our Boise visits.  And it never ceases to amaze me that cousins from Minnesota and Wisconsin could both end up living in Idaho!
